Time flies by in a fast paced city like Hong Kong. It feels like New Year was just last week and we are already in March. With so many things happening, sometimes one loose track of time. Hence, every now and then, it is good to remember this beautiful quote, “Yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future and today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present.” which I’m sure some of you have heard before and so relevant to our yoga journey. Being a regular practitioner of yoga gives us the insight to this quote, and to understand first hand the mindset of being here and now.
Asana Journal is happy to feature America’s well known Ashtanga Vinyasa practitioner and teacher Kino Mac Gregor in this month’s issue. Her practice, teachings and large following speaks volume. She needs no introduction as she is one of the most watched yoga practitioner on youtube and has a large following of yoga students on social media. Her journey is inspiring thousands of people around the globe everyday.
We also interviewed Jared McCann, whose journey started from writing music and playing classical piano. When he was inspired by Shri Dharma Mittra, his journey into yoga is an inspiration and an amazing one to read.
As always, we have many interesting articles to read and to help your practice grow stronger and deeper within. Enjoy your practice and in reading the Asana Journal.
