Yoga without Boundaries

The first Korea Yoga Festa was held on 25 and 26 February in Seoul. This is a major event where East meets West – master Yoga teachers conducted various workshops at COEX E-Hall.

First of its kind in Korea, Mr Tao of Hot Yoga Academy organised this international event, introducing to the participants different styles of Yoga – Andiappan Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Core Yoga, Forrest Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Jivamukti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yogic Arts and more.

International Yoga Masters including Yogananth Andiappan, Brian Campbell, Patrick Creelman, Clayton Holton, Santosh Kumar, D Sudhakar and Duncan Wong, conducted various workshops. Korean Yoga Masters including Sin Hee MC Cabe, Nadia, Linda, Kim Young Ho, Kim Yi Hyeon, Song Sun Ja, So Hyang, Heeki Park, Ya Ya Hamat Kaur and Tao, also led classes in different Yoga styles.

Participants appreciated the diverse exposure and were keen to try and learn different style of Yoga from the masters. Asana joined the Conference; copies of the journal were available for distribution.

Amongst the participants was a young American lady, Meg Rushbrook, who lives in Busan and travelled to Seoul for the weekend to attend the Yoga Festa. After reading Asana, she sent a note saying, “I read it cover to cover and I love it! It really inspires me.”
